Stuart Damon Returning to AS THE WORLD TURNS Aug. 23

Stuart Damon is a man who wears many hats: singer, actor, realtor. For more than 30 years, Damon spent his soap opera days playing Dr. Alan Quartermaine on GENERAL HOSPITAL, among other roles, and is eager to reprise his acting role in the final season of AS THE WORLD TURNS. Damon plays Ralph, a businessman thought to be linked to the mob who causes big trouble for some of Oakdale's residents. As a man of many careers, he will be making his last appearances on AS THE WORLD TURNS the week of August 23rd. After 54 years on television, the legendary soap opera will air for the final time on September 17, 2010.

"This has been an incredible journey for me," he said. "I enjoy all the opportunities that have been put in front of me and would not change a thing. Now, I am also excited to be working with my son, Christopher,” said Damon. “He is not only my co-worker and son, but my best friend."

Though he plays a notorious businessman on television, Damon is also now furthering a career in real estate. An astute Realtor and real estate entrepreneur, he is teaming with his son, Christopher, forming The Damon Group, which is part of the Joyce Rey luxury team at Coldwell Banker Previews International. Based in the Beverly Hills office, the Damon team bring more than 40 years of real estate experience serving the luxury market.

After stamping a memorable footprint in the soap world, Stuart Damon is excited to embark on a new parallel venture which allows him to combine two passions: acting and real estate. Stuart holds himself to the highest standards of client service for the exceptional properties and clients he represents. The powerful combination of real estate expertise and Stuart's circle of influence is a recipe for success in this industry.

However, don't expect any daytime father-son rivalries to break out from these two: together, Stuart and Christopher are a strong team who are now taking 'a new look at luxury lifestyle.'

  1. Just wished could have seen more of the vets the ones that started the show. Should have gave Lisa a storyline. Bob and Kim. At least their bringing John Dixon, and see James again. Should have brought back long forgotten couples and characters; Ellen, Penny; Betsy and Steve, Shanon and Duncan/Jessica, that's what real long time fans have wanted who have left the show in droves, screw the long time fans I guess. Oh well that's what we got youtube for. Has someone said will never see the older actors again in this generation zero world.
