A wave of Turkish soap operas is creating a quiet revolution from Syria to Egypt, capturing hearts in Arab countries with stories about the contemporary Muslim world.

Mediocre ratings for premiere of HAPPY TOWN
The debut of ABC’s HAPPY TOWN — a serialized drama about a small Minnesota town that’s haunted by a series of unsolved kidnappings — wasn’t worth smiling about: It posted ABC’s lowest-rated series premiere of the season, down 43 percent from EASTWICK’s debut in the time period last fall. The drama only attracted 5.2 million viewers and a 1.7 rating/5 share among adults 18-49.

Coldplay's Martin regrets giving GLEE the cold shoulder
The show's creator Ryan Murphy recently said the group had refused to give permission for the cast to cover their songs. However now that Glee has become a pop phenomenon, the bandmates have big regrets about not allowing access to their back catalogue. E! Online reports Coldplay singer Chris Martin contacted Murphy to confess they have changed their minds and admitted "we were wrong".

ABC Family pulls the plug on 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU
Executive producer Carter Covington announced the show's fate on Twitter: "Sad news," he wrote. "ABCFamily canceled the show :-( Thanks 2 our AMAZING fans - U R the reason I do this! Enjoy the last 5 eps - they're fantastic!"
