NEIGHBOURS shoot halted after on-set drama
Filming on Australian soap opera NEIGHBOURS was halted last week after police were called to deal with an actor in a "distressed" state who began smashing up the set. Producers on the TV show stopped the shoot on Friday and called emergency services after the unnamed extra started behaving in "an extraordinary way" - breaking objects in the Melbourne studio and accidentally slicing her wrist on some cut glass. Filming was cancelled and the cast was escorted away from the set while police and ambulance crews dealt with the woman, who was later admitted to hospital.

NEIGHBOURS executive producer Susan Bower tells Australia's Herald Sun newspaper, "It was a bit of a shock. One of our regular extras wasn't really feeling the best and started behaving in an extraordinary way. She was very distressed and swung her hand and knocked a glass off a table."

INTERVIEW: B&B's Katherine Kelly Lang
"People keep saying my character’s a slut because she’s been with all of the B&B men, but there are only so many men on a small, half-hour soap. You sooner or later wind up with everyone. Brooke gets caught up in love and lets that feeling take her wherever it will. I think the public is the same way. Our audience wants to believe that epic, long-lasting love is possible."

Through the magic of editing, Trachta will appear as the members of *NSync on the screen while he also sings lead, and he will perform “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” backed by a choir that looks almost like several Trachtas.

Chris Evans added to Captain America search
Y&R's Wilson Bethel is also still in the running to play the Marvel superhero.
