Rentrak Strikes Measurement Deal With DISH
Media measurement firm Rentrak Corporation has reached an agreement with pay-TV operator Dish Network to commercially integrate TV viewing data from Dish's set-tops with Rentrak's TV Essentials audience measurement service. Rentrak says that combining data from Dish, which has 13.9 million subscribers, with its existing telco TV and cable viewing information will now allow it to measure viewing on over 15 million televisions covering all 210 TV markets.

Jessie Wallace returns to EASTENDERS
EASTENDERS favorites Kat and Alfie Moon are to be reunited on screen later this year after the BBC confirmed today that Jessie Wallace is returning to the soap. The 38-year-old - who was last seen as Walford's tart with a heart Kat Slater on Christmas Day 2005 - recently inked a new deal at the same time as co-star Shane Richie.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS actress Minka Kelly lands CBS pilot
Minka Kelly has landed a role in the prospective CBS comedy, TRUE LOVE. The project — produced by Matt Tarses of Scrubs and Worst Week fame — focuses on four friends looking for love in New York. Kelly will play Kate, who’s described as sweet, strong-willed, and Midwestern.
