Frances Reid ('DOOL') throws party for ERA

Frances Reid has been portraying motherly Alice Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES for some 16 years now. In real life Ms. Reid is very active in the Equal Rights movement and recently the actress threw a "Soap Actors for ERA" party in her home.
Said Ms. Reid about her cause: "As women's options expand in the job market, the decision to run the home will become as prestigious as the decision to become a doctor. Women should be wives and mothers by choice, not because they have no other options."
