As hinted previously, Indie Soap Award nominee EMPIRE had some exciting casting news in the works. We Love Soaps can now reveal that former GUIDING LIGHT stars Tina Sloan (ex-Lillian) and Orlagh Cassidy (ex-Doris) will be joining the cast for EMPIRE's upcoming second season.Cassidy will be playing Colleen Lively, a Dina Lohan-esque partying stage mom. Sloan will be playing Theodora Grant Haven, an heiress who always gets what she wants and is out for revenge. Sloan also stars in indie soap VENICE.
We Love Soaps attended a read-through for the second season of EMPIRE and these are excellent casting choices. Look for more details and interviews with the cast coming soon.
