ABC may replace OPRAH with THE VIEW
Executives at Disney and ABC are mulling the option of yanking THE VIEW out of ABC's daytime network lineup and repackaging it for syndication as a replacement for THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW after the daytime queen departs in 2011.

Another option being discussed by the executives is leaving the panel talk show for women on the network, but moving it to 4 p.m., OPRAH's slot on the ABC O&Os and many other stations, or 3 p.m. in place of GENERAL HOSPITAL, the pay website News Blues says. ABC's popular soap opera would move to another spot on the daytime schedule.

INTERVIEW: Returning DAYS star Lisa Trusel (Melissa)
"I would love to [come back]. It would be a totally different story in dealing with a child because I never got to do that because I was a child the last time around. I grew up on that show. I started when I was 14. I met [my husband] David [Wallace, ex-Tod] there on the set. Instead of the normal high school memories you have, those are my memories. At the time, I didn't want to leave the show when they let me go, but I was glad to be able to be home to raise my children and be a mom. That has been the greatest blessing ever and I would never change that."
