COMMENTS FROM THE PANEL:
Roger Newcomb: Marcy Walker created so many memorable moments on ALL MY CHILDREN as Liza, but it was Eden Capwell on SANTA BARBARA where she truly made her mark. Along with A Martinez, Walker helped carry that show and was the lead actress for years making an unbelievable amount of dialogue work scene after scene. She is missed in daytime.

COMMENTS FROM CO-STARS/CO-WORKERS/INDUSTRY:
Robert Newman: (worked with Walker on GUIDING LIGHT and SANTA BARBARA) I had the pleasure of working with Marcy in two venues: On SANTA BARBARA I tried to kill her and on GUIDING LIGHT I tried to love her. In both she was extraordinary. She is one of the most beautiful women you can imagine. She reminded me of one of my first movie crushes: Lauren Bacall in To Have and Have Not. That tall, smoky, smart, sexy blonde. I’m sure she’ll be remembered in daytime for her work with A on Santa Barbara, but I felt blessed that we got her for a while on GL. One of the great women of daytime.

Rebecca Budig: (worked with Walker on AMC) Marcy Walker was full of fire. She was funny.

  1. Great choice. I would have ranked her even higher, lol.

Marcy Walker is one of my Top 3 favorite daytime actresses, ever! Cruz and Eden were magic.

With Angie and Jesse back on "All My Children" and with Liza rekindling her romance with Tad, it makes me miss her even more.

  2. She is one of the greats. A shame she is not on daytime right now, the industry could use her talent.

While I loved her as the third point in the Jenny & Greg triangle, for me Marcy Walker will always be Eden Capwell. Makes me really miss Santa Barbara!

  3. Marcy Walker will always be Eden Capwell Castillo in my eyes. She is one of the most beautiful women ever on daytime TV and her portrayal of Eden was spot on. I really wish that Soapnet would get the rights to that show because I would kill to rewatch all those episodes of Santa Barbara.

  4. Loved watching Marcy on GL and later AMC, but it seems to me that after Santa Barbara she's been highly underused. A crying shame cause she is such a great talent. She's got that subtle, simple, yet highly nuanced approach that I love so much. Not to mention she's gorgeous! Any show would be lucky to have her.

  5. For me she is the number one. The most beautiful woman, I wanted to be her when I was young.
Most of all she gave me so much fun in Santa Barbara, with A. Martinez she built something very special. In the show they taught us many values about love and their friendship, respect and trust made us forget they were just acting. It was just magic. I miss them so much. Best moment in my life.

  6. Marcy Walker and A Martinez will always be what I consider the most incredible couple ever on tv. Their relationship was a combination of passion, friendship and goofiness and it just gave us hope that love would conquer all. I still remember the two of them together after all these years and they will remain with me forever. They were both such incredible actors. I couldn't believe they weren't put on nighttime tv. They would have been amazingly popular. Oh well, I'm happy that Marcy is doing God's mninistry now. She always seemed so angelic...I guess that's why. God bless her...!!!
