INTERVIEW: Y&R's Darius McCrary (Malcolm)
"I have been doing this long enough to know a few things. Look, Shemar is a great guy and a great actor, and a beautiful human being, but he is Shemar and I am Darius. I have been doing this since I was nine years old. So whatever the role is, I am going to do the best I can do. The only thing I am concerned with is stepping on the stage in front of that camera and giving the best performance I know I can give, day in and day out as an actor. Nobody brought up Shemar and it’s cool."

DAYS OF OUR LIVES FAVORITE HOLIDAY MEMORIES
Molly Burnett (Melanie)
"My dad always makes my brother and I cut down a Christmas tree from the mountains, very much like Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation. It's hysterical and painful and cold and amazing."
Louise Sorel (Vivian)
"Christmas trees have always been my favorite memory and for a Jewish person it's not so common."
Eric Martsolf (Brady)
"Receiving my first drum set. It was a dream come true for a kid who adored noise."
Gabrielle Rodriguez (Gabi)
"I remember when I was ten, my dad got me a dirt bike for Christmas, but he never told my mom about it. On Christmas morning, when we woke up and saw the huge bike right by the tree, I was super excited, but my mom went insane! She was furious. I guess she was worried I would hurt myself, like my dad did when he used to race. Luckily, I never did, and now, we look back at that Christmas day and laugh."
Crystal Chappell (Carly)
"Making cookies with my Mother and Grandmother."
Taylor Spreitler (Mia)
"My sister and I staying up all night to see Santa, she saw him I never did."
Mark Hapka (Nathan)
"My sister and I were young and we woke up a little too early for our parents to be ready to open presents one Christmas. We wanted to sneak a peek at what was under the tree so we made our way down the stairs but stopped halfway down when we were startled by a noise. It was coming from the kitchen where we left Santa his cookies and milk. My sister and I held our breaths and looked at each other, afraid to move or make a noise because we thought the same thing...SANTA HASN'T LEFT YET! So as we were about to go back upstairs when I thought, 'no one ever gets to see Santa Claus and what would the kids at school think when I tell them that I MET Santa?!' So I manned up, grabbed my sister, and pushed her in front of me. We made our way to the kitchen where the noise continued. It felt like an hour had gone by before we got the courage to round the corner. When we did, there to our surprise, was our dog, Penny. She had pulled the dog food can out of the trash and was licking it clean on the floor. She popped her head up, looked at us, gave a little growl to let us know that was HER can, and went back to her licking frenzy. So much for meeting Santa!"
