WE LOVE SOAPS TV 1.02 Evan Alex Cole

On Episode 1.02 of WE LOVE SOAPS TV, Roger Newcomb and Damon L. Jacobs welcome celebrity co-host Evan Alex Cole, who plays Hunter on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Cole talks about his first six months and the soap and previews his upcoming storyline. In our latest "Soaps on the Street" segment, we ask people in Central Park if they can tell the difference between real headlines and DAYS OF OUR LIVES stories. We later put our guest co-host to the test as he plays "Real vs AS THE WORLD TURNS."

Our west coast correspondent Stephanie Burke pays a visit to the set of VENICE to talk with Crystal Chappell, Harrison White, Nadia Bjorlin, Kim Turrisi, Gina Tognoni, Jessica Leccia and Michelle N. Carter. We also go on location with AS THE WORLD TURNS to Greenville, South Carolina, and preview the upcoming the show's Never Surrender Tour including interviews with Michael Park and Mark Collier.

  1. Great show, guys! I loved seeing Evan Alex Cole co-host, as well as the interview segments with the casts of ATWT and Venice. Stephanie was a great correspondent.

The Soaps on the Streets segments were funny, too. :-)

  2. You guys rock! WLS-TV was chalked full of awsome stuff. The Michael Park segment was fun...star of WLS, LOL! EAC was sweet, and I would really be interested in seeing a Hunter/Maddie (love her!) coupling explored. I'm from around Pittsburgh, I wonder where they will be taping. I had fun playing along with the "real or Days/ATWT" game, and the people on the street seemed to enjoy it too.

If you run out of ideas for the segment, you can always ask them to name a soap character. I would be interested to see who the winner would be. Next time I'm out at a bar or store I might actually do a survey, ha! I put that as my status on Facebook yesterday and ended up having a very fun convo with old college friends that watched Days back in the day!

I can't end without saying how much I enjoyed the Venice interviews. I'm looking forward to all of the web soaps, but my anticipation for Venice is on an entirely different level!
