News Round-up: Peter Bergman, Ming Na, Alley Mills

INTERVIEW: Peter Bergman on 20 years at Y&R
On Nov. 27, it will have been 20 years ago that Peter Bergman made his debut on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as Jack Abbott. He spoke to ET about the rivalry between Jack and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), soap opera sluts, the MTV effect and why his soap has been No. 1 for so many years.

"Fans ask me most often: Do Eric and I get along in real life? My answer is … next question."

"I watch DAYS OF OUR LIVES, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, ALL MY CHILDREN, GENERAL HOSPITAL and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. I make my way around a) because I have friends on these shows; and b) because I can steal stuff."

B&B's Alley Mills to star in ION's first original film
ION Television's first originally produced television film, the holiday themed A Golden Christmas, is set to make its world premiere on the Network on Sunday, December 13 at 9:00 PM, ET. The announcement was made today by Leslie Chesloff, Executive Vice President, Programming, ION Media Networks. This two-hour film marks the first of a dozen originally produced made-for-television movies that ION Television is slated to roll out throughout 2010. Among the stars is B&B actress Alley Mills (Pam).

MELROSE PLACE: Heather Locklear may save it. Again.
Zap2it's Andrea Reiher writes: "Was Heather Locklear's return to MELROSE PLACE perfect? Damn near. She looked great, she kicked a** and she left us with an intriguing hook to get us back. The problem? That the show can't keep up with her. If this show were all about Amanda Woodward, Ella Simms and Lauren Yung, it'd be made in the shade."

Graham King enters TV
Graham King is planting his flag in the television business. The prolific producer-financier has recruited Lionsgate TV exec Craig Cegielski to head the new GK-TV division of his GK Films banner. GK-TV can also serve as a partner to networks that develop projects internally but then need a studio to see them through in production. "We're going to be able to provide networks and creators great opportunities and resources to bring their ideas to fruition," Cegielski said.

INTERVIEW: Former ATWT actress Ming Na (ex-Lien)
"I've heard some things through Twitter, but I try not to do too much blogging because ... if you're going to believe the good, you have to believe the bad, you know? So I haven't heard too much feedback, but I guess I will once the LIFE episode airs [November 20]. On my birthday, kinda nice right? It's my birthday, my first lesbian kiss on camera." [Laughs]
