GLEE Brings Joy to Beleaguered Music Industry
Two months into the 2009-10 TV season, GLEE is drawing a weekly audience of 8.6 million viewers to the Fox television network. Fans have bought more than two million tunes sung by the show's cast on iTunes, and soundtracks are being compiled and sold in traditional stores.

The average American spent “four hours and 49 minutes a day on average in front of the TV” during the most recent TV season
A few minutes shy of the five-hour mark, the 2008-9 season average is the highest ever, according to Nielsen, up four minutes from the previous year. Compared with 10 years ago, viewing is up 20 percent.

ABC Moving UGLY BETTY to Wednesday Nights
ABC higher-ups are moving UGLY BETTY to Wednesdays at 10 in January as part of a flashy relaunch of the show in an effort to save it. The thinking is that Betty would complement new hits MODERN FAMILY and COUGAR TOWN nicely, and make ABC a solid destination for comedy on Wednesday night.

  1. I haven't seen "Ugly Betty" yet this season due to its move to Fridays.
    Am looking forward to it moving to Wednesdays! I really hope this is a sign of support from ABC/Disney.
