WE LOVE SOAPS TV 1.01 The Pilot

Jacobs and Soap Opera Weekly's Mala Bhattacharjee review the latest hot topics from around the soap world, pay a visit to the set of GOTHAM to talk to Martha Byrne and Anne Sayre, hit Times Square for a very Braeden "Soaps on the Street" feature, and preview an interview with Lawrence Saint-Victor and Karla Mosley.

  3. I really enjoyed this! It's nice to actually see the actors talking about their projects. As soap fans, we hardly ever get to enjoy that aspect. The excitement about all these web-series is awesome! I'm so excited! At first, I was really only thinking about watching "Venice", but they are all looking to be so good. Watch out broadcast television, online soaps are about to take over the interwebz!

  4. Thanks, Marc.

DocP, I'm going to add an audio version to iTunes and also the video version. The video will be a different feed unless I can figure out how to do otherwise.

Stephanie, I'm excited about all these web series. The people behind them really care about what they're doing and have a great sense of what their audience wants.

  7. I always wanted to see Michael and Martha together. And loved Rose and Mitzi.

That Eric Braeden thing was hysterical.

  10. That was AWSOME Roger, Damon & Mala...great job! The Gotham Interview was great, and it has me looking forward to the series even more than I was before. I enjoyed listening to the hot topics section, and I'm one of those viewers that just started tuning in to Days in August after years of not watching. I wasn't that impressed in August, but I'm really liking it now with Kate/Stefano marriage, Baby-Switch, Bo/Hope/Justin and Carly. I was on the edge of my seat when Carly was back in the hospital today! I would also be really interested in learning what most people are turning in for. The "Soaps on the Street" segment was Classic! I hope that you do more of them. I met Karla & Lawrence at an event in Pittsburgh earlier this month and they were really sweet and fun to talk to.

  11. Great show. Those two web series look interesting. Love the man on the street stuff. Please also keep doing the audio versions because I like to listen at work. It would be nice to zoom in now and then though. Static shots are kinda dull. So much stuf on the web now. Who needs tv?

  12. I love the vid. I have so much respect for Mala by reading her columns that it was nice to "see" her in person.

thanks for the feature on Gotham and Wed-Locked. I'm really looking forward to these shows. I feel like Venice has the buzz but so far we really don't know the content at all while Wed-Locked and Gotham seems to have the content but less buzz.
