EASTENDERS opening titles revamped
The opening titles of EASTENDERS have been given a revamp for the first time in ten years. The soap's famous map sequence has been updated, and now boasts a three-dimensional colored map, complete with a boat, waves and clouds.

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: "It's not been tweaked or changed in the 10 years since the Millennium Dome was completed in 1999, and in my first week here, in 2006, it started to bug me. With everyone now so familiar with Google Earth, it struck me that the style of the map image, as well as the content, was a little out of date. I didn't like how the 'EastEnders' title scrolled up, it's always looked odd to me. It wasn't until this year that we actually got around to doing anything about it."

Minka Kelly returning to FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS?
Producers are talking to Minka Kelly about making a two-episode return as Lyla halfway through the season. Coincidentally, that’s right around the time things start heating up between Riggins’ and Dillon’s resident Lolita, Becky (played by newcomer Madison Burge).

Spelling fuming over 'tabloid lies'
In a post on her Twitter page, she writes, "Just got word that STAR Mag will b (sic) running a story tomorrow about my 'Loveless Marriage' R they kiddin? (Sic) DON'T believe! Uggh. Hate tabloid lies!"

Tylo dumped cheating boyfriend
B&B's Hunter Tylo hit the headlines last year when she obtained a restraining order against Corey Cofield amid allegations he beat her daughter with a belt. Cofield denied the claims and Tylo had the court order dropped months later after reconciling with the guitarist. The actress split from Cofield for good in May but is only now revealing the reasons behind her decision to boot him out of her family home.

She tells the National Enquirer, "It was like a bad soap opera. I booted Corey out in May after I found a letter he'd left on my computer - a love letter to his old fiancee. He claimed he couldn't contact her because he'd been out of town, but that he missed her."
