CLASSIC CLIPS: GUIDING LIGHT's Roger Thorpe

There can not be a farewell to GUIDING LIGHT without paying the proper respect the most complex villain in daytime television history, Roger Thorpe, played by the masterful Michael Zaslow. The clips below, hosted by Zaslow and co-star Maureen Garrett, follow Roger's tumultuous relationship with Holly and so much more. Enjoy!

  1. Best actor daytime television has ever seen, and one of the best actors on television, full stop. What a gaping hole he left when he passed away!

There has never been a more complex, compelling character on a soap. Half the time I wanted to strangle Roger, the other half I wanted to hug him. Either way, I couldn't help loving him.
