TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco recently interviewed former THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS actress Victoria Rowell and she spoke about a possible return to her role of Drucilla.
Y&R is home. It’s always been. Everyone knows that. Stay tuned … During the last two days, my website has popped overnight according to my web mistress! Facebook and the Twitterverse are off the grid from Canada to the Caribbean. It’s exciting to hear how much my fans miss me being on-screen.
Among other subjects, Rowell also teased webisodes related to her upcoming book, "Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva."
I can’t give you an exact drop date, but it will be out around Summer 2010. I have already begun drafting stories for the "Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva" sequel. We’re also going to film webisodes to accompany the book’s release. As you know, everything is online right now. It’s the future of television and publishing. I’m also producing, writing and starring in a one-woman tour that will accompany the book’s release. Moreover, I’m planning on having soap stars participate in the show as well. I’m really excited. For example, Michael E. Knight [Tad, ALL MY CHILDREN] is very interested … The show will be very Eartha Kitt. I’m hoping my book will re-engage fans and inspire them to tune in to Y&R again.
