P&G On The Possible End of ATWT

P&G's Jeannie Tharrington (Director, Communications) spoke to Cincinnati.com about what many are predicting to be a grim future for AS THE WORLD TURNS.

P&G spokeswoman Jeannie Tharrington aknowledges that daytime is a tough TV marketplace, but says the company is committed "to making the best show we can as long as we're on the air." P&G has a contract with CBS to air AS THE WORLD TURNS for the 2009-10 TV season, she says.

AS THE WORLD TURNS has slightly improved of late and has been promoting the show with an "Everyday Counts" campaign.

  1. Having just been through this with GL, I would tell ATWT fans to start campaigning now because both P&G and CBS are determined to be rid of your show.
