The GREY'S ANATOMY Emmy nominee will cross over to sister show PRIVATE PRACTICE early into season 6 (episode 3, specifically) when Bailey visits Oceanside Wellness.
DGA challenges Primetime Emmys changes
The Directors Guild of America has thrown cold water on the TV Academy's plans to trim the Emmy Awards. The DGA asserted Tuesday that ATAS would be in "material breach" of its longstanding agreement with the guild if it moves forward with plans to "time-shift" eight of the 28 award presentations during the live Primetime Emmycast.

VAMPIRE DIARIES to give Marlboro native Paul Wesley star turn
It's definitely one of the things I've done that I'm most proud of," Wesley (formerly Wasilewski) said of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
During his junior year in high school, Wesley was cast in GUIDING LIGHT as Max Nickerson. He transferred from Marlboro High School to Lakewood Prep in Howell because the school was able to accommodate his acting schedule.
"I would go to school once or twice a week, but they were really awesome and let me do the work from home. They facilitated it so I was able to get a high school degree," Wesley said, praising Lakewood Prep for working with his filming schedule.
Lorrie Morgan to make Broadway debut in "Pure Country"
Morgan will star opposite fell country singer Joe Nichols, playing the George Strait role from the film. ATWT's Michael Park played the role when the show was being developed for Broadway and told We Love Soaps in June he was disappointed he didn't get the part in the actual show.
