The Deacon/Amber scenes on today's Y&R were some of the most disgusting and horrific scenes I've ever seen on daytime. The way Deacon basically forced a tearful Amber to have sex with him as Daniel overhears it on the phone was very degrading.
ReplyDeleteI've loved the Phillip return and everything about it EXCEPT for Thom Bierdz and his performance.
ReplyDeleteHe was great before, but is either really rusty now or really doped up on antidepressants, because his delivery of "I'm gay" was said with all of the urgency of "hello there."
I'm glad Roger and Nelson have both been truthful about this.
tvwatcher, I didn't get to watch Y&R live today so I'll look out for those Deacon/Amber scenes when I watch later.
ReplyDeleteJohn, I feel bad the story is being considered by so many to be a bomb. Tricia Cast has been amazing and Daniel Goddard has earned new respect from me. Jess and Jeanne have been terrific as always. There are so many elements to like. And even though Bierdz has not delivered on par with his co-stars having the original actors at least add the nostalgic factor which has personally raised my enjoyment level a lot.
