News Round-up: Goddard, Riegel, Bowen, Bissett

Y&R's Goddard had more input on TV wedding than his own
Daniel Goddard played it smart and let his wife, Rachael, handle most of the details for their wedding.

"I was there," Goddard jokes.

Goodard had a good excuse for not helping with his own wedding. He was in the last season of his series, BEASTMASTER, in 2002, when the wedding was planned. The syndicated series, which filmed in Australia, kept him busy between working with animals and staying in shape to wear a loincloth.

INTERVIEW: AMC/IB's Eden Riegel
"Everything happened so fast [with the AMC story] that there wasn’t time to really build to the idea that Reese would make out with Zach the night before the wedding. A lot of people found that unforgivable. It was the first gay wedding. People wanted it to be pure. She was making out with Bianca’s brother-in-law! And then, during the wedding, Greenlee died a horrible death. [Laughs] Oh, the whole thing was a disaster."

Andrea Bowen returning to HOUSEWIVES
After she was mostly out of the picture last season off to college, Susan Mayer's daughter Julie will be back in full force in the upcoming sixth season of ABC's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Andrea Bowen is returning to the hit ABC series as a regular in the fall, sources said. An ABC spokeswoman would only confirm that Bowen will appear in the sixth season opener, slated for Sept. 27.
