Manhattanites director Gregori J. Martin hosted a benefit on Friday night for NaturalEarth, a non-profit Green Environmental organization. The event, held at The Kress Rooftop in Hollywood, had green carpet arrivals, music and casino tables all to benefit Project Genesis: Phillipines.
The event was attended by a number of soap stars included Wes Ramsey, Kate Linder and Michelle Stafford (pictured above with Martin and Antonio Blaque).
Roger,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations again on your movie! I look forward to seeing it as soon as it available for rental. (My budget has been decimated by the recession. Otherwise, I'd buy a copy.)
Do you have a release date for Netflix rental?
Also, thank you and the rest of the WeLoveSoaps.com crew for releasing new content daily.
You should increase your ads. I'd be happy to click and learn about more products and services to help support your site.
SoapFan, thanks very much. Netflix is in progress but I don't have a definitive date yet.
ReplyDeleteRoger,
ReplyDeleteI see that Darnell Williams is credited as co-director but Manhattanites is a "Gregori J. Martin film."
What role did Williams play in the film's creation? I'm a bit confused.
Gregori was the director and a real driving force behind the film. Darnell was the co-director, assisting Gregori as we were filming. Darnell had done some daytime directing but this was his first film and he was learning the ropes.
ReplyDeleteDarnell is a first rate guy and even more than his directing skills, he just added heart and class to the whole project.
Roger,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the speedy update, especially for a Sunday morning!
Have a great day!
P.S.
In terms of ads, maybe increasing the number of ads is the best ideas as much as changing their placement.
You have a great new logo but you also have "We Love Soaps" written in the left banner. It's redundant. You could use some of that space for content (recent comments) or ads.
