GUIDING LIGHT goes dark in September, and with it a two-year relationship with the borough of Peapack-Gladstone. One of the show's producers, Kim Armstrong, presented a $10,000 check to the borough council Tuesday night as a parting gift in appreciation for a two-year lease of the Komline House.

"We appreciate everything you all have done for us and it's been a wonderful experience," Armstrong said after presenting the check to Mayor William Horton.

GUIDING LIGHT has been paying $7,500 a month for use of the estate which it bought from Elizabeth Komline in 2005 for $6.9 million.
