GUIDING LIGHT To Say Goodbye to Peapack

GUIDING LIGHT goes dark in September, and with it a two-year relationship with the borough of Peapack-Gladstone.

One of the show's producers, Kim Armstrong, presented a $10,000 check to the borough council Tuesday night as a parting gift in appreciation for a two-year lease of the Komline House.

NJ.com reported on the story.

"We appreciate everything you all have done for us and it's been a wonderful experience," Armstrong said after presenting the check to Mayor William Horton.

"Thank you very much and I'll gladly step down from the dais to accept," Horton said to laughter and the applause of councilmembers and borough residents.

GUIDING LIGHT has been paying $7,500 a month for use of the estate which it bought from Elizabeth Komline in 2005 for $6.9 million.
