News Round-up: GM, James DePaiva, BAG, Conor Jackson

GM owes $162.5 million to TV ad agencies
The companies that buy commercials on behalf of the bankrupt automaker will have to wait to recoup their money.

Depaiva answered some additional fan questions following his recent interview with Damon L. Jacobs. DePaiva said: "From my perspective the most important thing to me, was the incredibly talented, beautiful, hysterically funny and inventive group of actresses I got to play with. I was truly blessed with an amazingly diverse collections of playmates."

John Bolger: The right guy at the wrong time
Patrick Erwin writes: "I think many GUIDING LIGHT fans shared the same feeling I had – he wasn’t quite Phillip, but we liked him all the same. He’s an engaging actor and he did great, solid work at GUIDING LIGHT. I often wish he’d have been cast as another character on GL."

D-backs' Jackson to be on GH
Conor Jackson, who majored in theater at the University of California at Berkeley, finally got to put his acting skills to work. The Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder, who is on the disabled list with valley fever, will appear on GENERAL HOSPITAL on Wednesday. Jackson shot his part of the episode in early May, when the D-backs were last in Los Angeles. He was not on the disabled list at the time and said he was embarrassed that the show is going to air while he is on the DL.
