Highway Tragedy Claims Popular Actors: Armenia’s “Gokor” and “Garik” killed in late night crash
Two actors popular on Armenian television died Monday around midnight when the car in which they traveled crashed on the Echmiadzin-Armavir highway. Dead at the scene was Gegham Ghandilyan, 35 – known to thousands of Armenians as “Gokor”, the character he portrayed on VOROGAYT (Trap), a soap opera based on gangster life. Also killed immediately was Aram Miskaryan, 36, who played “Garik” on the show.

Ed McMahon Dies At 86
Ed McMahon, the longtime sidekick to Johnny Carson on THE TONIGHT SHOW has died, according to multiple reports. Recent reports said that McMahon had been hospitalized with pneumonia. He was at UCLA Medical Center when he died.
