Writer Alina Adams on ANOTHER WORLD TODAY
“Since the bulk of the clips we have [on Hulu] are from 1991, I focused on what were the storylines in 1991 that were also around in 1999…It’s all about the core families. If you have Rachel, you have to have the kids—Jamie, Matt and Amanda…Once you do that you have a pretty full canvas. We have Cass and Lila, so you have to have Felicia.”

INTERVIEW: B&B's Don Diamont (Bill)
On his new B&B character, Bill Spencer, Jr.: "I would describe him as rogue-ish, as opposed to smarmy. He is politically incorrect, sexually inappropriate, and has no censor on himself, whatsoever. He says whatever is on his mind to anyone at anytime…no-holds barred. He takes no-prisoners and nothing or no one intimates him. He is a highly competitive guy, an adrenaline junkie, and a mixed-martial arts guy, and an Ultimate Fighting fan. Bill is quite a force to be reckoned with."

The CW Getting Out of Sunday Business
The CW confirmed Monday night it is in advanced talks with affiliates to no longer program Sunday nights.

"As we plan our 2009/10 fall launch, we are in talks with several of our top affiliate partners about a number of creative and mutually beneficial actions that will build on our growing record of success," said a statement from the network. "These discussions include an evolution of the strategy, which began this season, to focus The CW's resources on Monday through Friday nights. As a result, we are now exploring the transition of Sunday night to our affiliates. This would provide a new revenue opportunity for the stations, while at the same time expanding upon our successful weekday strategy from this year, which resulted in ratings growth among our target audience."

EDITOR'S NOTE: The Daytime Emmys will be airing on Sunday, August 30 on The CW.

  1. I wonder if the CW is going to even put the effort into promoting the Daytime Emmys and will the CW affiliates have the option to move the emmys to a later time spot on tape delay?
