Nets begin recasting series
The broadcast networks have started recasting the shows that made it to their fall schedules, the Hollywood Reporter says.
3.1 million not ready for DTV
The number of TV households completely unready for the digital transition decreased to 3.1 million, according to Nielsen. The number represents 2.7% of TV households, down from 2.9% at the time of Nielsen’s last report two weeks ago, which stated that 3.3 million households were unready.

Lily Allen to appear on NEIGHBOURS
Lily Allen is set to appear in Australian soap opera NEIGHBOURS. The singer is a huge fan of the soap, and managed to bag a guest spot after her management bumped into a network executive who works on the program. The singer will play herself in the show and record a scene alongside character Zeke Kinski (played by Matthew Werkmeister) over two days.
Blue County Headed To Warsaw To Support Fight Against Autism
Blue County (featuring former soap star Scott Reeves) will be in Warsaw (Indiana) for a concert to raise funds to support research into causes and a cure for autism. The concert is June 27, and proceeds will go to Walk Now for Autism, an annual event aimed at raising awareness and funds for Autism Speaks, an organization aimed at finding a cure for autism and improving the lives of those with the disease and their families. Walk Now for Autism is scheduled for Sept. 12 at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
