GL Remains in Top 10 of Yahoo Buzz TV Rankings

GUIDING LIGHT is ranked 10th today in Yahoo's Buzz rankings of the most popular TV-related searches. The show has ranked in the Top 10 the past few days despite rarely, if ever, being ranked in the Top 20 before.

Y&R, a Top 20 regular, is #11 today. DAYS, sporadically in and out of the Top 20, is currently ranked 17th. AMERICAN IDOL is #1.

  2. I'm really not surprised. Guiding Light has countless viewers who are not served by the current ratings system. Viewers 18-49 rarely get their tv by simply sitting home and watching live.

I am thrilled by the prospect of PGP and Guiding Light being pioneers once again and leading the medium into a new phse.

  3. Guiding Light has the creative potential to draw in many more viewers, especially in the young age segments most relevant for advertising. P&G productions recognize this and will transform their product to adjust to the changing media landscape once again.

    Guiding Light = Innovation.

  7. Exactly Southern! GL has such a HUGE loyal fan base, many of whom do not have a Nielsen box. GL is in the midst of a creative resurgence and is drawing in new viewers every day with the Otalia storyline. Save the Light!
