Abilenian Nicholas Galbraith joins cast of ATWT
Former Abilenian Nicholas Galbraith won't say much about his new AS THE WORLD TURNS character, other than he will play a twin named Zac for at least 10 episodes.

Galbraith, 24, has already filmed the 10 episodes, which are set to begin airing April 1. He said there could be more episodes on the horizon depending on audience reaction.

"In soaps anything is possible," a laughing Galbraith said by telephone from New York, where he lives.

Danny Dyer for EASTENDERS role?
Football Factory actor Danny Dyer is reportedly being lined up for a role in BBC soap EASTENDERS. The 31-year-old, who played Tommy Johnson in the football hooligan film, recently met with controller of BBC drama production John Yorke to discuss a potential role on the show. A source told The Sun: "Danny is ideal for EASTENDERS. He's actually from the East End - and still lives there - and he's got the whole geezer thing going on."

Gospel Hill to get ReelWorld fest rolling
Actor Giancarlo Esposito's directorial debut, Gospel Hill, which stars Danny Glover and Angela Bassett, will open the ninth edition of the ReelWorld Film Festival on April 15, organizers said Wednesday. The U.S. independent drama about a decades-old investigation into the death of a civil rights leader also stars Esposito, Julia Stiles, Taylor Kitsch (Tim, FNL) and Nia Long (ex-Kat, GL).

The brainchild of actress Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia, Y&R), the Toronto showcase for culturally diverse filmmakers will close April 19 with the Bollywood romantic comedy Aloo Chaat, directed by Robby Grewal and starring Aamna Sharrif and Aftab Shivdasani.

Lindsay Lohan Remembers Parent Trap Mum Natasha Richardson
Natasha Richardson, whose career included such films as Patty Hearst, Maid in Manhattan and The Parent Trap, died Wednesday at age 45 after suffering a head injury from a skiing accident.

Lindsay Lohan was 12 when she shot to child stardom in The Parent Trap following a memorable stint on ANOTHER WORLD. But she wasn't too young to remember who helped her rise.

"She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her," Lohan added. "My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss."

Will Christina die on UGLY BETTY?
Ashley Jensen is leaving the series at the end of the season. Michael Ausiello says: "A much happier ending awaits Cristina. One that involves a kidnapping, a medical test, and a reunion with the two men in her life."

Duluth teen a finalist in nationwide model search
Taylor Adkins, 15, answered a nationwide call for aspiring teen models and is now just text messages away from being named the ELLEgirl Nationwide Model Search competition winner. The winner, who will be announced Friday, will receive a trip to New York with accommodations, a photo spread on ElleGirl.com with an actor from CBS' GUIDING LIGHT, a two-year modeling contract with Ikon N.Y. Model Management, a walk-on role on GUIDING LIGHT, a photo shoot with photographer Roberto Ligresti, a full makeover and more.
