News Round-up: Jessica Leccia, OUTQ, Digital TV

INTERVIEW: GUIDING LIGHT’s Jessica Leccia (Natalia)
In an interview with EclipseMagainze.com, Leccia discusses her pairing with Crystal Chappell's Olivia: "It helps a lot that I love Crystal! I think she’s amazing. I always enjoy what she’s going to do. You just never know about chemistry. I still don’t know! You hope for the best and sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m really grateful that people feel that it’s there for them."

She later praises the writers: "I’m so happy. We love the writing. We have gotten to do scenes that might seem kind of mundane but then when you really look at the scene and the way that it’s written you’re just like 'There so much in here!' and all we’re doing is sitting at the kitchen table. That’s the kind of stuff that really makes us happy and makes us excited to go work. I don’t have to say it, the writing's super important!"

On the message of the story: "You know as far as messages go, I think we want to try and keep it as simple as possible and I think keeping the message really simple appeals to a lot more people and that’s just that this is a love story and you fall in love for a million different reasons, you fall out of love for a million different reasons and this is just one of those stories."

  1. roger, thanks again for the continued coverage of all things otalia. the interview with jess over at eclipse magazine is in no way spoilery but is fascinating just the same. i feel like we- the audience- have so much to learn about natalia. and i for one am so excited that GL found the wonderful leccia to play this role. she is definitely finding her groove.

as for her concern about chemistry, uhmmm, i'm amazed on an otalia daily basis that my tv and computer don't melt from the heat coming off these two. meow!

GL is lucky to have Jessica and Crystal driving this storyline. Their chemistry is palpable, they know their characters and they're invested. What more could we ask for?
