FNL Honored For Alzheimer's Contributions
The Alzheimer’s Association’s 17th Annual “A Night At Sardi’s” charity event was held last night in Beverly Hills. This year's ceremony honored the producers of Fox Sports and the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS for their contributions in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. FNL received the the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award.
Several FNL cast members were on hand including Connie Britton, Kyle Chandler, Jesse Plemons, Aimee Teegarden and Adrianne Palicki.
On the show, Matt's grandma is battling with dementia. It has always been a very touching story watching him struggle to take care of her, but this season has been particularly moving.
The annual event features entertainment from across the entertainment industry. This year's show including Melina Kanakaredes, Swoosie Kurtz, Peter Gallagher, Bradley Cooper and Billy Crystal.
Over the years, the charity event has raised over $17 million to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
