On tonight's episode of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, "It Ain't Easy Being J.D. McCoy," new quarterback J.D. McCoy (guest star Jeremy Sumpter) becomes a victim of freshman hazing but begins to win the respect of the town and his team after he wins his first game. Meanwhile, Julie (Aimee Teegarden) and Matt (Zach Gilford) get closer after a night at the lake as Tyra (Adrianne Palicki) and Cash (guest star Zach Roerig) drift further apart when a woman shows up claiming he owes her child support.
