FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS is not quite putting up AMERICAN IDOL ratings and didn't even match the first few NBC episodes last night, but after a drop-off last week, the show was up 14 percent this week with 3.9 million viewers and a 2.5 rating (4 share).Last week's episode only managed 3.5 million viewers.
