PREVIEW: Tonight's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

"Home Is the Place" - It's the people that make a house a home, on ABC's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, Sunday, January 4 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The competition is on when Bree meets Andrew's future mother-in-law for the first time, as each is determined to win over their son's affection; Gaby urges Carlos to accept a job which pays a six-figure salary even if it means spending more time away from home; Susan is feeling lonely while Jackson is away and turns to Lee for company; Lynette catches Preston speaking to his runaway twin on the phone; and Edie grows weary of Dave as he continues to exhibit some odd behavior.
