News Round-up

INTERVIEW: GENERAL HOSPITAL's Natalia Livingston (Rebecca)
"What was really important to me was remembering my five years on the show and how happy I was. I know that this is a group of people I love to work with, that it's a job I know I love. This is a chance to have something new and my own."

Just 35 Days Before Digital Switch, FCC Commissioner Warns “This Country Is Not Ready”
During a visit to the Tri-Cities Tuesday, Federal Communications Commissioner Michael Copps warned that many people probably won’t be able to watch their favorite shows come next month. Copps and Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Virginia 9th District) held a digital television town hall in Bristol, Virginia, Tuesday. The two answered viewer questions in preparation for the digital switch, now just 35 days away. However, before answering those questions, Copps warned with the February 17th government-mandated deadline fast-approaching, America will not be ready.
