Jennifer Anison on her father, DAYS' John Aniston, to FOX 411
"He’s amazing, he just keeps going."

Calvin gets a new love interest on GREEK
Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello says Calvin, the "gay brother" on ABC Family's Greek, will get a new gay love interest in Gregory Michael, the DANTE'S COVE import. "Michael's character is described as a genetically-blessed, closeted Omega Chi active who comes out to Calvin — which is all well and good until the two end up rooming together. Sexual tension abounds, as does some serious heavy petting (or whatever it is the kids are calling it these days)."

INTERVIEW: ATWT's Davida Williams (Jade)
"I always wanted to entertain. My dad's in the entertainment industry — he's a musician, a guitarist. So, from a young age I would go on tour with him and see him perform. He was with Madonna for eight years and I went on her Blond Ambition tour with him. He's played with Michael [Jackson] since the '70s up until now. Obviously, Michael's not doing much in terms of music right now, but he's been with him for like 30 years."

EVENT: Renee Elise Goldsberry and Cheyenne Jackson
The Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual "Winter Benefit: An Intimate Night," an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring the fresh faces of 2009, on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Rainbow Room (30 Rockefeller Plaza, 65th Floor). Two-time Tony Award winner James Naughton will host, introducing three exciting young Broadway performers -- Renee Elise Goldsberry, Cheyenne Jackson, and Leslie Kritzer. Tony Award winner John Rando will direct the show.

Rice gets Hall of Fame call during Y&R
Former Boston Red Sox outfielder Jim Rice tried to make Monday a normal day, but there was no way that was going to happen. He sat down to watch his soap opera at 1 p.m. — he does this every day when it’s too wintry to golf — but about 10 minutes in he began to get antsy. Maybe he should call the Red Sox, he thought. Nah, better wait a bit.

He played golf, stayed associated with the Red Sox, did a little TV work and waited and waited for a call. The phone finally rang yesterday, interrupting THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. He had been waiting 15 years for that call saying he had been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

“It was a big relief,” he said. “I didn’t have any weight on my shoulders, per se. But when I got the call, it seemed like everything fell back.”

SAG ousting chief negotiator Doug Allen
SAG national executive director Doug Allen, a lightning rod for criticism during the ongoing contract talks with the studios, is on the way out as chief negotiator.

The development is an indicator that moderate elements of the board now have the votes to derail the proposed strike-authorization vote. With the leverage that a yes vote would provide gone, SAG leadership would have few options but to send the studios' final offer to its membership for approval.

HOLLYOAKS stars branch out to Rock FM
After a successful debut on Radio City last month, Bauer Radio has announced that ex-HOLLYOAKS stars Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries are to host a new show on Lancashire’s 97.4 Rock FM.

The pair, better known to soap fans as characters Max and OB, are now set to present a new Saturday morning show called Sat Nav with Matt & Darren, which will focus on social events in Lancashire and what the listeners are getting up to at weekends.

INTERVIEW: GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kimberly McCullough
