Todd Grinnell: Andrew's New Boyfriend on DH

Todd Grinnell debuted as plastic surgeon, Dr. Cominis, on last night's episode of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. In the storyline, he interacted with Bree and Orson, who was dealing with a nose injury after the bar fire. Orson's injury caused him to snore "robustly" much to Bree's chagrin. The doctor told him that a minor surgical procedure could fix it but Orson did not want the surgery.

Near the end of the episode, after Orson had slipped Bree a sleeping pill causing her to appear drunk at a cooking demonstration at the mall, she forced him to see Dr. Cominis again and go through with the operation. Seeing their twisted relationship in action, Dr. Cominis wondered if Orson really wanted to go through with the procedure leading Bree to hilariously explain the balance of power in relationships. He revealed that he was not married but had just moved in with someone. After the Hodges left his office, he called his new live-in love, who turned out to be Bree's son, Andrew.

In the previews for next week, Andrew and Dr. Cominis announce they are getting married while Bob (Tuc Watkins) and Lee tell Bree they believe they've seen Dr. Cominis before in gay porn.

In January, the fabulous Joanna Cassidy will play Melina, Dr. Cominis's very liberal mother who is the "exact opposite of Bree."

Grinnell is best known from the short-lived NBC comedy FOUR KINGS.
