Me either. I have seen more than one story recently about car advertising on soaps and if I've seen a car commercial it has been rare. I mean, they'd be car operas if that were the case. :)
It doesn't surprise me that CNN is pushing this, since mainstream media often forgets how SOAP Operas got their name. What I really wonder is why Lynn Leahy, editorial director for two mags with the word "Soap" in their title, would go along with promoting that myth when she should know better.
i do not remember cars *ever* being advertised during daytime.
