Brett Claywell Is Llanview High's Newest Teacher

Scott Clifton was at the ONE LIFE TO LIVE studios on Nov. 21 but it looks like the part of Llanview High's newest teacher has gone to someone else.

Brett Claywell, probably best known for his role as Tim Smith on ONE TREE HILL has been tapped to play the role starting in early January.

Claywell, 30, grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, and graduated from North Carolina State University in Architecture with a minor in theater.

He played basketball in high school and used his athletic prowess in the film, The Final Season, where he played Patrick Iverson, the first baseman and team captain in the true story of a small-town high school baseball powerhouse in Norway, Iowa.

As an avid football I was happy to see this note in his bio: He kicked a 27-yard field goal for his high school (Dudley) football team with six seconds left for an 18-16 win over North Forsyth back in 1995.
