Gareis tells TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco, "Donna has strong emotions for everyone in her family. She’s daddy’s little girl. Donna and Katie had a combative relationship, but they’ve gotten over those issues, I think — especially when Donna confided in Katie about her son, Marcus. And Donna has a very strong passion and love for Brooke. The Logan family is very important to Donna. She’s the nucleus of the family, I think. And now that Beth is back, the Logan family is complete."

Deep Soap: Out of Tune
Sara A. Bibel blogs: "I am a musical theater fan. But I rarely enjoy watching my favorite characters sing. I usually feel like I’m watching the actor rather than the character. INTERVIEW: OLTL’s Loyita Chapel
"I know from week to week what my schedule is. I don't know what the plans are for her. It's been so much fun, because it's been quite a while. I do plays occasionally in town, which I love and adore. I'm an actress in a weekly group, but it's been a long time since I've been on camera. I finally feel like I got my legs back, now that things are slowing down. I would truly welcome more dates in the future for Dallas to be part of the story."
