The Golden Icon Awards have been presented annually by Travolta Family Entertainment since 1993, highlighting achievements in Entertainment, Fashion, and Leisure.
This year, GUIDING LIGHT earned its first Golden Icon for Best Soap Opera.
In acting categories Peter Bergman won Best Actor for his role as Jack Abbott on CBS’s THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, while GUIDING LIGHT’s Nicole Forester picked up the win for Best Actress for her role as Cassie Layne Winslow.
GUIDING LIGHT also earned awards for Best Writing for the team headed by David Kreizman.
INTURN won Best Reality Internet Series.
Presented since 1993 to recognized top achievements in entertainment, leisure, and fashion, the Travolta Family Entertainment Golden Icon Awards added daytime television to its award categories for the 2005-2006 awards.
They must not watch the show.
