Circus Performer Antonio Sabato Jr. Faces Death!
Antonio Sabato Jr. has quite the juggling act going on these days, balancing his derring-do as a CELEBRITY CIRCUS performer (Wednesdays at 10 pm/ET, on NBC) with his return to Port Charles by way of SOAPnet's GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT. Sabato shared with us a look inside the two gigs, one utterly foreign and frightful, the other familiar and fun.

"They told me what kind of routines I would be able to do, and I thought it'd be a challenge and an honor. It's pretty extraordinary, so I could not refuse. There is the physical aspect, sure, but also the mental challenge to do something like this in a short amount of time is pretty cool."

Will Jagger find NIGHT SHIFT love with... Brenda?!
Sabato Jr.: "It's a soap opera so you really never know, but.... I think there's a chance of bringing Brenda back, that Vanessa Marcil could come back. If she does, you've got something to play with right there!"

BLOG UPDATE: Joe Diliberto
GENERAL HOSPITAL has its "Stone Cold," but AS THE WORLD TURNS boasts a "Stone" Cole. As played by Chris Heuisler, Sofie's sinister ex drops in and out of the story. One moment might find him recklessly tossing a baby at pursuers to save his own skin and the next he's blackmailing the woman he loves, but Cole is always memorable. And that's the mark of a good supporting character: He leaves the audience wanting more. This week, Cole has been goading Sofie into blackmailing Paul and squeezing her for the cash. He's smart, too — it took him about 13 seconds to realize he was the father of Sofie's latest impending bundle of joy. I like having Cole around because ATWT has been lacking a completely amoral villain since James Stenbeck vanished and Craig was neutered and sent packing. The succession of sociopathic young women, from Jade to Cleo to Sofie, has worn thin. (What's next, another kooky chick named Julia?) ATWT does not need another scheming vixenette. Granted, Cole is a bit young to be the master criminal of Oakdale, but everybody has to start somewhere. And the way he hasn't hesitated to tease Sofie about "losing" their last child to Will and Gwen shows an imbedded streak of true cruelty. He just needs a signature crime....

B&B's Jack Wagner visits Heather Locklear
As she receives treatment for anxiety and depression at an Arizona facility, Heather Locklear enjoyed a recent visit from boyfriend Jack Wagner this week.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL star – who hadn’t seen Locklear since she left Los Angeles for the facility on June 19 – spent several hours with her last weekend. On Sunday, the two had lunch together in the facility’s dining area.
