35TH DAYTIME EMMY FASHION REVIEW by "Project Runway's" Jack Mackenroth

Soap stars tipped for next DANCING ON ICE
EMMERDALE star Roxanne Pallett and former EASTENDER Joe Swash are among those set to don skates for the next series of DANCING ON ICE. HOLLYOAKS trio Jennifer Metcalf, Jeremy Edwards and Ben Hull are also being tipped to take part in the ice-dancing competition.

HOLLYOAKS stars took to the catwalk to raise money for Liverpool’s Linda McCartney Centre. Cello Boutique in Birkenhead’s Pyramids shopping centre, staged the fashion show for the Field of Women event.

Zeitgeist 20th Anniversary Salute at MoMA
The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York began a celebration this week of the distributor Zeitgeist Films 20th anniversary with a retrospective of some of their best releases from over the years. Friday night, Todd Haynes presented two of his earlier films from the Zeitgeist collection, the short Dottie Gets Spanked and the controversial feature Poison. Dottie Gets Spanked stars two former One Life to Live castmates, J. Evan Bonifant (ex-Al Holden) and Barbara Garrick (Alison Perkins).

Switching jerseys
David Hiltbrand of the Philadelphia Inquirer writes: "For further proof that the pop world is spinning too quickly to follow, you had only to watch The Daytime Emmys on ABC (which did dismal numbers around the rest of the country, but actually performed pretty well here in Philly). Right at the top, host Cameron Mathison explained that each of the soaps had its own table, as he stopped at the ALL MY CHILDREN enclave to greet Ricky Paull Goldin and Beth Ehlers.

Whoa, Goldin and Ehlers? Don't you mean the GUIDING LIGHT table? No, apparently while I wasn't looking (maybe during the previous commercial) the actors jumped ship.

Oh, well, if Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen can win an NBA title in that sickening Celtics green, anything can happen."

Jennifer Kate blogs: "McKinsey died of kidney failure (she just had a kidney transplant) When news of her death came out, it spread over the internet like mad. Most were sad that younger generations were never going to see her at work. A lot of us were sad that she would never make a comeback."
