"I'm loving my new job. It's been interesting. This is not an easy task. Martha did such an incredible job and was so loved. She has a huge fan following. I think it's going to take time for people to accept me as the new Lily. I've had really enthusiastic responses from the crew and cast, Jon (Hensley, Holden) especially; he's really excited and encouraging. I hope the fans give me time to prove that I can bring a new perspective to the role and I hope they will enjoy it."

OLTL Emmy nominee does double duty
By night, he plays a successful if sleazy businessman urging his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter, Jean, to smoke pot and lift her top so he can see her breasts. By day, he plays one of the nicest guys in the world, with a wealthy, age-appropriate girlfriend. It's a demanding 24-hour cycle for actor Brian Kerwin, who radically alternates daily between portraying Steve Heidebrecht in Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County" on Broadway and Charlie Banks on ABC's daytime soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

Rosie Malek-Yonan on GH
Rosie Malek-Yonan returns to daytime television joining the cast of ABC's longest-running daytime drama series, GENERAL HOSPITAL, as Farah Mir in a recurring role that debuted today.

Most recently, she worked opposite Reese Witherspoon in Rendition which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Under the direction of Oscar winning director, Gavin Hood, the film also stared Jake Gyllenhaal, Meryl Streep, Peter Sarsgaard, and Alan Arkin.

Malek-Yonan is an Assyrian activist, actor and author. She brought the Assyrian Genocide to the limelight with the publication of her book, "The Crimson Field" and is an outspoken advocate of issues concerning her Assyrian nation.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Former GL and AMC star Michael Tylo
"I have learned that when a writer knows what they are doing, you know what the writer wants. I did what Agnes wanted," Tylo said about his former boss. "I always saw her. Then, there was another writer (Winser Washam), but it did not ever veer off from what she wanted. Agnes knew what she was doing from the get go, I never had any qualms or cautions. I just did it, and knew if it worked I did it right. Agnes, Bill, Marland, they were the best writers I have worked for. It was my privilege to know them."

Monte Carlo TV Festival Opens
The 48th Monte-Carlo Television Festival opened last night with the European premiere of the full-length television film Father, based on Andrei Platonov’s short story "The Return." Attendees of the screening included actors Greg Rikaart (Y&R) and Drake Hogestyn (DAYS), Christel Khalil (Y&R) and Deidre Hall (DAYS).
