Daytime Emmy "Experts" Prediction Chart

I'll update this today if anything chages. A few folks didn't pick all the categories. Tune into the Daytime Emmy Awards tonight at 8pm ET/PT on ABC to see how many everyone got right.

* C/L/B – Marlena picked a three way tie between David Canary, Christian LeBlanc and Peter Bergman

  1. ALL THE SO CALLED EXPERTS ARE WRONG.THE WINNERS IN EVERY CATEGORY ARE GOING TO BE FROM THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.THIS YEAR IT IS A POPULARITY CONTEST NOT A TAPE CONTEST.I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THERE WILL BE BOOING WHEN CHRISTIAN LEBLANC WINS AGAIN BECAUSE ALL THE ABC AND NBC STARS WILL BE DRUNK BY THE END OF THE SHOW

  2. In your list of experts, you left out Carolyn Hinsey and her New York Daily News predictions.

    Quoted here:

Lead Actor: Anthony Geary (Luke, "GH") wins again over Peter Bergman (Jack, "Y&R"), David Canary (Adam, "AMC"), Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael, "Y&R") and Thaao Penghlis (Tony/Andre, "Days").

Lead Actress:I'd like to think it's Jeanne Cooper's (Katherine, "Y&R") year, but I heard Nicole Forester's (Cassie, "GL") tape was the one to beat Crystal Chappell (Olivia, "GL"), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, "Y&R") and last year's winner, Maura West (Carly, "ATWT").

Supporting Actor: Brian Kerwin (Charlie, "One Life to Live"), who is having a helluva year also starring in the Broadway smash "August: Osage County," will beat Daniel Cosgrove (Bill, "GL"), Trent Dawson (Henry, "ATWT"), Greg Rikaart (Kevin, "Y&R") and Kristoff St. John (Neil, "Y&R").

Supporting Actress: Gina Tognoni (Dinah, "GL") will beat Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren, "Y&R"), Judi Evans (ex-Bonnie/Adrienne, "Days"), Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily, "ATWT") and Heather Tom (Katie, "B&B").

Younger Actor: Van Hansis (Luke, "ATWT") will defeat Darin Brooks (Max, "Days"), Bryton McClure (Devon, "Y&R"), Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, "GL") and Jesse Soffer (ex-Will, "ATWT").

Younger Actress: Because "Days" hasn't had a win since Billy Warlock (ex-Frankie) in 1988, let's go out on a limb and pick Rachel Melvin (Chelsea, "Days") to beat Vail Bloom (Heather, "Y&R"), Jennifer Landon (ex-Gwen, "ATWT"), Emily O'Brien (Jana, "Y&R") and Tammin Sursok (Colleen, "Y&R").

As for Outstanding Daytime Drama, "One Life to Live" should win, even though it's on Emmy-slighted ABC. May the best amnesia victims win!
