An arrest warrant was issued for Sean Kanan (ex-Deacon, B&B; ex-AJ, GH) for failure to appear in a progress report hearing on a DUI charge from August 2007. According to a press release from Turk Entertainment Public Relations and Productions, the actor "has done everything to comply fully with the court's requests, [and] only learned about the arrest warrant from friends who saw the television news piece." Kanan issued this statement: "I take this situation very seriously. I have been working incredibly hard on creating positive changes in my life. I would never knowingly neglect a court date nor any conditions placed on me by the court system."
Kanan stars in the upcoming thriller Jack Rio, co-written by Matthew Borlenghi (ex-Ziggy, B&B; ex-Brian, AMC) and Directed by Gregori J. Martin (Charlie, S&S & Director of Manhattanites.
