Byrne/DePaiva play review
As Larry, Wilbur Edwin Henry shows no shame, and merrily so, in dealing with an ambitious corporate attorney-for-hire who happens to be the daughter of the CEO's mistress. Kate Sullivan, a brash upstart who may be too smart for her own good as played by Martha Byrne (best known as Lily Walsh Snyder on TV's AS THE WORLD TURNS), spars with crude and clever Larry as both his legal and libidinal adversary.

Hey, at least the Liquidator has a sense of humor, which is more than we can say for the good guys of this bottom-line morality play. James DePaiva, another soap star (Max Holden on ONE LIFE TO LIVE), as the manager of New England Wire & Cable, worries about his golden parachute, while Neva Rae Powers, playing Kate's mom/Jorgenson's lover, simmers with supportive resolve.

Though "Other People's Money" may not be a play for all seasons, it resonates ferociously in these unstable economic times.

Oh 'My'! Dixie's return has Adam all spooked
Dixie's return to Pine Valley sends Adam to the nut house next week on ALL MY CHILDREN. "Serves him right," says Cady McClain, back as beloved Dixie Cooney Martin, if only as a ghost. "Adam had Dixie committed all those years ago so he could take her son [JR] away. Karma's a bummer. I should know."
