British Soap Awards 2008: The red carpet
It was glitz and glamour all the way this weekend at the annual British Soap Awards, where a crop of television starlets trotted the sparkly purple carpet in their finest. As usual there was a lot of the three B's on display - bronze, breasts and bling, and plenty to gab about.

DAYS' Mascolo loses his father
Peter Mascolo, 106 years old, of Newington, died on Friday (May 2, 2008). He was the beloved husband of Anna (DeTuccio) Mascolo for over 80 years. We Love Soaps recently reported on the 80th weddding anniversary party through by DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Joseph Mascolo.
