"Juicy" Suits ATWT Newcomer Julie Pinson
TV Guide's Matt Mitovich writes: "You may best remember her as PORT CHARLES' Eve, or maybe you didn't blink and caught her short turn as DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Billie. (And some of you may think of her as lucky-duck Billy Warlock's bride.) But Julie Pinson now has a truly "Juicy" role to grab onto. The voluptuous beauty is joining AS THE WORLD TURNS in the mystery role of Janet, a woman from Brad's past — and one who in high school boasted the nickname 'Juicy.' (Akin to how my college sweetheart apparently had been dubbed "PBT" during her own torrid teen years... but I digress.)"

Andrea Evans "Thrilled" to Be Returning to OLTL
As ONE LIFE TO LIVE prepares to celebrate its 40th Anniversary on ABC, Andrea Evans returns to play one of daytime television's most beloved bad girls, Tina Lord Roberts, in June. Ms. Evans originated the role in 1978 and played the popular character until 1990, receiving an Emmy(r) Award nomination for her wonderfully devious portrayal. Tina's return to Llanview means the kind of trouble only she can create, and will open the door for another fan favorite to return.

"Even though Andrea has not appeared on 'OLTL' since 1990, she has remained among the most requested characters to return to the show," said executive producer Frank Valentini. "I welcome her home to 'OLTL' and to the role where she made an indelible mark on our audience."

"For many years, both fans of mine and of 'One Life to Live' have wanted me to return to the show, said Ms. Evans. "Now that the timing is right, I'm thrilled to be returning to the role of Tina, which I've always held near and dear to my heart, and I'm looking forward to working once again with all my friends and 'family' at 'One Live to Live.'"

Tina has endured a life-altering experience and will have a mysterious connection to one of Llanview's most powerful citizens. Upon her return, she will first cross paths with her sister, Viki Davidson (Erika Slezak), and her brother, Todd (Trevor St. John). Her appearance in town will spark a major story that will take place throughout the summer.

Ms. Evans is one of the genre's most dynamic performers and, in addition to "One Life to Live, has appeared on "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and most recently "Passions." Besides her daytime roles, she has an impressive list of credits spanning film, primetime, radio and theatre. In addition to her acting career, she dedicates her time to such charitable organizations as The City of Hope and numerous animal rights groups.

Ms. Evans continues to reside in CA with her husband, Steve, and young daughter Kylie Lyn.

AMC's Thorsten Kaye blogs for the NHL playoffs
"I grew up in Germany when I was a boy, and my family and I moved to England when I was only six years old. I was playing soccer and running track (I still enjoy soccer), but when I came to the States and started watching hockey, I couldn’t stop.

When I was in grad school in Detroit, even then, in the early 90s when I was there, I remember the passion people had for the sport and just how much they loved their team and I couldn’t help but fall in love as well. In Detroit, it’s incredible how much they – how much we, I should say – love our team.

I mean, they put a Red Wings jersey on the statue in front of the courthouse, just to show support!

Now, I played a little hockey when I was a kid, but any aspirations I might have had for playing in the league, I realize now that I would’ve been a real longshot had I continued. You see these guys, and you don’t realize how big these guys are until you actually see them up close, how fast they are, and the kind of skill they possess.

I have this argument all the time with people, you’ve heard it, I’m sure: it’s the experts and the fans who say the hardest thing in sports is to attempt to hit a baseball. To them I say: you try skating – not running, skating – 30 miles an hour, while handling a puck only inches in diameter, with some huge pissed-off guy, say a guy like Chris Pronger, hanging on your shoulders."

Liveblogging AS THE WORLD TURNS: House of 1000 Coitus Interruptuses
"Yes, today Noah and Ameera move into their new lovenest, and we embark on a new phase of Luke and Noah's relationship: Namely, the phase where the writers have to figure out how to keep the guys from playing hide-the-mistletoe now that they aren't under the watchful eye of Gramma Emma, Little Miss Stormcloud, and the rest of the wardens at the Snyder Home for Wayward Gay Teens and Illegal Immigrants."

As SAG-AFTRA Dispute Rages, AFL-CIO Unable to Broker Truce
Susan Flannery, who has been on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL for 21 years, has been cited in news reports as one of the cast members behind the move to replace AFTRA with SAG. (She has been unavailable to comment since the story broke.) But Holter Graham, president of AFTRA's New York local, doubts Flannery was the instigator. "She wakes up on Tuesday morning at 9:15 and all of a sudden she understands the decertification process?" Graham asked rhetorically. "It just raises questions."
