Evening News

One News Now: An American "Family" Association spokesman is hopeful Proctor & Gamble will opt not to get involved in controversial topics, such as a homosexual kiss on television on AS THE WORLD TURNS, and adopt a policy toward that end. dBusinessNews: The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel is giving one lucky winner and a guest the ultimate soap fan’s fantasy – staying in the center of Hollywood and attending a retrospective event honoring THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS on their 35th Anniversary this April.

Plenty Magazine: Kiera Butler discusses how soap operas can save the environment.

Media Guardian: The Royal Television Society Awards nominations have been announced and with the glittering and lavish ceremony a mere fortnight away. In the "Soap and continuing drama" category, the nominees are CORONATION STREET, THE BILL AND HOLBY CITY.

Soap Opera Digest: Blogging With Carolyn Hinsey: "I made a point of COMING IN FROM THE BEACH Friday to catch GUIDING LIGHT's debut episode of its new format. With hindsight, I should have applied more sunscreen and continued my backstroke. What a jittery mess!"
