ABC: All My Children aficionados can look forward to a major treat in the new year. Save the date! Rebecca Budig returns to Pine Valley as Greenlee Smythe on January 16, 2008. (The lovely and talented Sabine Singh--who stepped into Greenlee's high heels last spring--will last air on January 15.) After two years away from AMC's set in New York City, Budig is excited and nervous about returning to her signature soap role. She is moving cross country, since she's been living in Los Angeles with her husband, Bob Guiney of The Bachelor fame. But Budig just couldn't resist the call of popular demand! In this emotional Q&A, the fabulous fan favorite talks to ABC.com about her big homecoming.

Playbill: Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC), an independent labor union for stage directors and choreographers, has elected a new president and executive vice president. Karen Azenberg was named the new president of SSDC, while Larry Carpenter was named the organization's new executive vice president. Azenberg succeeds Pamela Berlin in the position, which was held by Berlin for six years. Carpenter received a Tony nomination for his direction of Starmites. He also received an Emmy Award for his direction of "As the World Turns" and a DGA Award for his work on "One Life to Live."
